What is Fenuwise™?
Fenuwise is a soft, water-soluble fiber that is derived from the fenugreek seed. It takes about 100 grams of seed to create 25 grams of Fenuwise.
Fully traceable to the farm where it was grown, Fenuwise is produced by Emerald Seed Products Ltd in Avonlea, Saskatchewan and is 100% Canadian.
How does Fenuwise™ work?
The predominant fiber in Fenuwise® is a soluble fiber consisting of a mannose backbone with galactose side units of 1:1 ratio. The unique molecular structure enhances the structural integrity of Fenuwise compared to other soluble fibers.
This means Fenuwise has a stronger impact on the digestive system which creates 3 positive outcomes:
1) Producing a strong barrier for acid rising into the esophagus.
2) Delaying the absorption of carbohydrates, thereby affecting postprandial glucose response.
3) Bonding to bile salts to prevent reabsorption from the small intestine.
What is the recommended intake of Fenuwise™?
To help with frequent heartburn we recommend:
Start by taking 1-2 capsules, with a full glass of water, at night or in the morning.
If heartburn or indigestion continues, take 2-4 capsules at least 10-20 minutes before each meal or when symptoms are present.
Should I see a doctor before taking Fenuwise™?
Yes, doctor consultation is always important before attempting anything new, especially if you have any underlying health conditions.
I have diabetes. Should I see a doctor before taking Fenuwise™?
Yes. Fenuwise will impact your blood glucose levels. You should consult with your doctor before any dietary changes, such as increasing your fiber intake with Fenuwise.
